How to use and navigate the MWEE 101 Course

If you need help with the site or have questions contact Krysta Hougen (krysta.hougen@noaa.gov)

In order to make the most out of this course and receive your Certificate of Completion and credit, you will need to create a user account and enroll in the MWEE 101 Course. You can "audit" the course as a guest, but as a guest you will not be able to respond to questions or use included interactive elements.

Need help creating a Chesapeake Exploration account and enrolling in the course? Instructions can be found back on the homepage in the section titled "START HERE!: How to create and account and enroll in a Chesapeake Exploration course"

Navigating the Lessons

Below the description of each lesson you will see one or more links marked with colorful icons. Click on these links to explore the MWEE content and participate in the activity. We suggest you complete the entire activity in one sitting so you don't lose any question or essays responses. You will be able to re-take and review the lessons after you completed it. This functionality is enabled so that you can continue to re-visit the course as a resource.

As a warning, when you revisit activities or lessons your previous question and essay responses will not be visible to you but, as long as you hit "submit" at the end of your response (and you are logged into your Chesapeake Exploration account), your responses will be visible in the Lesson essays feedback section found in the Navigation panel of MWEE 201.

One final note: Many of the activities in this course are set up as lessons, with buttons at the end of each page for you to navigate the content. The navigation is typically limited to forward and backward. If you want to go back a few pages, you can use the Lesson Navigation links with the Navigation panel (this is only the case when you are actually "in" a lesson).
