    In this section, we focus on the Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs). The SEPs are used throughout one's K-12 career and beyond. Many of the SEPs have a potent connection to environmental literacy work.

    Lesson objectives:

    1. Understand what the Science and Engineering Practices are intended to do and why they are included in the Framework.
    2. Explore a resource that further explains the SEPs and learn about the Claim, Evidence, Reasoning process that can be used across all grade levels.
    3. Reflect on which SEPs you currently practice with students and which SEPs you could add into your environmental literacy programs.
