An Additional Resource for understanding and using the EQuIP Rubric comes from the NGSS EQuIP Professional Learning Facilitators Guide. Because this is a facilitators guide it takes you through some of the activities one would do during an EQuIP training. The guide may help you better understand how EQuIP is used and give you ideas for how you can apply components of this in your work.

If you'd like, you can focus your attention on the following modules that more directly connect to the Modified EQuIP for informal environmental education programs. 

1. Module 3: Three-Dimensional Learning (31 - 39)
2. Module 5: Providing Feedback, Evaluation and Guidance (52 - 61) - this module describes the process for evaluating lessons and providing feedback.
3. Module 6: Determining Alignment to the NGSS (62 - 77).  
4. Module 7: Coherence and Connections in Lessons (78 - 89).  For this section think about how the different lessons/activities that make up your field or school program fit together.
5. Module 8: Instructional Supports (90 - 98)
