Accessing Climate Data

In your readings and in the videos you have watched, you have seen a lot of different types of climate change data. You will experience even more when we are together in August. What climate change related data can you access? Actually, a ton of it. Here are some suggestions on places to get started with data.

We've attached a file that provides some tips on accessing sea level trends from a NOAA site.

Here are some places to access atmospheric data and Antarctic ice core data.

Mauna Loa carbon dioxide graphs and data (Keeling curve) here:

Ice core data: https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cdo/f?p=519:1:0::::P1_STUDY_ID:17975

From that last site, if you click on the Datasets tab near the top, you can explore a plethora of Paleoclimatology Datasets from NOAA.
