Like Elise I work at the NOAA Environmental Science Training Center in Oxford MD and am one of partners helping to facilitated this year's Climate Academy.

I am one of those people that really feel climate related education is both relevant and important work.  We live in a changing world and ourselves, as well as those around us need to be prepared for coming changes, understand what led to them and hopefully this will help us to make good decisions when dealing with the changes.

This year I am really looking forward to learning more about the contexts in which you all teach and where/how climate can fit in.
