I think there are some major benefits of integrating climate change to programming at the Museum. We have many programs that we could use these topics to build upon what is already in place. Our geology, water, and structure of life programs all discuss different earth systems already but they are currently not identified in that way.

Delaware is in a great spot to garner a community response, so to speak. The state will be major impacted by climate change being on the coast and I think that drive the point home. The Museum is trying to incorporate much more local focused material and were planning to bring more information about the impact that human activity has on climate change even on a local level.

Sounds like a good fit, Austin. What kinds of programs do you offer at the museum? Is it mostly exhibits/interp programs or do you do more formal K-12 programs as well?
