The local-scale climate change impact that affects my site is the changes in the weather. We are experiencing severe weather events. The amount of snow that accumulates in the area, does not allow for workers to clean up efficiently. As a result, the students are missing days of school when quality instruction takes place. The students can use this climate change as a way to research and monitor the weather. They can research the weather patterns in the area from at least ten years in the past up until the current. They will also monitor the weather patterns of the current school year. They will document and compare their findings and use the results to predict future weather patterns.
